switching teams mid franchise? (14)

Is there a way to switch teams during franchise mode in 14 or 15? My phillies are getting too stacked but I still want my guys to finish their careers and the Pirates have collapsed so I'd like to switch to them and rebuild them while still watching my phis dominate.

You can if you have GM goals on. You'll be able to switch after 3 years, however teams offer you a contract based on your GM grade so you just can't pick any team you want. Finish 3 seasons with an A grade and you'll get offers from teams like the Red Sox, finish with a D grade and you'll likely get offers from the Twins, Astros etc.

Thanks. Is this in 14? I didn't see an option for gm goals. Offline franchise? And is it possible to turn them on after starting the franchise

No, GM goals are only in '15. If you started with 30 team control, you can switch teams by changing PIT to the user profile. That is the only other way I know to do it.
