    5 Tool Drafted Player

Has anyone found any player in the draft that is a 5 tool player. I've seen players who have the potential to be one with ok base stats, but none that start out like a Mike Trout. Curious to see if anyone has come across a 5 tool player in their franchise first year draft. Highest overall player I've seen in the first year draft is 76 overall, but only had a C potential. Also curious to see what the highest overall player you've found in the first year draft is.

Use this thread to post your highest overall player found in the first year draft and if you've come across any five tool players

In 15 drafts, the best player i've seen was 70, A potential with horrendous baserunning stats. From his horrible speed and stealing attributes I can't say he will ever develop into an adequate baserunner, much less an above average one. So, the short answer is no. 5 tools players are missing.

There are plenty of serviceable c potential players that start out with high contact or power ratings though. I drafted a 2B that was a C pot, 70 rating. Bis power was 90 as a rookie. Hilarious. His clutch and vision stank to high heaven, but when i played him against the cpu, i would just guess high fastball if it was there, a 400 ft bomb was not a surprise.

In an online franchise I saw a guy that was a 2B that was 84overall with 98potential. In online franchises the prospects in the draft are nice.

Also a SP named Mariano Rivera who is 77overall with 97potential.

I'll try to remember and post this C prospect the Chicago Cubs just took #4 overall. I know he was a 71 OVR with a mid-A POT. He was a Joe Mauer type prospect and will be in the bigs very very soon.
