    Beginner help?

Hey all, so I got The Show a little less than two weeks ago and have really been loving it. It's been a great option for something to break up my constant nba 2k15 play! Although it was difficult at first, I think I've got a fairly good grasp of the basic gameplay and controlling options ( I play on all star with pure analog everything and directional hitting and am winning against the cpu aprox. 25-30 percent of the time). That being said I've definitely begun to realize that I know a lot less about baseball than I thought I did... so although I am having fun send can play the game alright I would really like to start getting into more in depth strategy, specificly I'd like to do a fantasy draft franchise.. although I've tried, I just have too little knowledge of what to look for in a player for each position, when and why tl move players up and down the rosters between minors and majors, options waivers etc... so was hoping someone could point me too a guide or article of some sort explaining these pretty basic franchise/draft concepts for me? Also for some reason the one gameplay mechanic I am still having issues with is base running, every so often I make pretty severe mistakes resulting in outs when I am trying to control 2+ runners at the same time, so any tips on that would also be much appreciated. Sorry for the long post and thanks in advance!

    Re: Beginner help?

As far as base running goes it can be confusing at times. If I hit a ball to the gap with runners already on base I hold down L1 until the batter gets about half way to second base then I take control of the lead runner and decide whether to score him or not. It is too hard for me to take control of each runner in time to decide whether to advance or not and sometimes I end up with two runners on the same bag.

Fantasy draft you have to decide what type of team you want. Pitching strong, power, speed, and go with it. I always make sure I have some speed on my bench for late game pinch run situations. I also need a strong bullpen because I never seem to pitch well with my starters for some reason!
