I play as first baseman.
Maybe 20% of the time a grounder is hit to an infielder, I cannot move myself to cover first. I push the stick toward it, as always, but he does not move. There is a 2 second or so delay, then he finally starts moving.
I have not been able to pinpoint any situation that is common to the occurrences, but it happens often enough to end up with a runner on first, who clearly shouldn't be. Its usually scored a hit, but sometimes an error on me.
I have two different controllers, one of them almost brand new, happens with both of them. Fully charged.
The one good improvement I see this year is that Infielders no longer wait until I am standing on first before they throw the ball, as it has always been in the past. At least now, once I am in motion toward first they start their throw. Grateful for that, and it helps this problem I am pointing out some.
If its a speedster he will generally be safe when he clearly would have been out, routine grounder. But because my PL guy does not respond to the LS moving him right away, some are safe, who shouldn't be.
Anyone else seeing this? I don't know anything I can do about it, except not play the defensive half of the inning. But I really enjoy that.
Just curious. Is it only moi? Any suggestions?
Thanks.
HMMM, sure seems related to thread I see below "Where is my First Baseman" He is stuck! I can tell you that much, as a first baseman. LOL Seems a real bug to me affecting other areas of play
