It can happen. I lost a game earlier this season while I was playing at SF's AT&T Park and Hunter Pence hit the ball into one of the gaps at the park. It wasn't a walk off inside the park homer. But it was the winning run. But a funny thing happened to me in a game last night. I was playing a historical 1981 Expos vs Dodgers game using the text based OOTP 16 baseball game. I managing the Expos team was trailing 3-2 in the bottom of the 9th inning with 2 out. Gary Carter came up to bat and proceeded to clock an inside the park home run to tie the game 3-3 and I went on to win the game in the bottom of the 12th when Andre Dawson slammed a solo Big Fly out of the park. This is a text based game, so who knows what is going on behind the scenes with their simulation engine. But Gary Carter was never known for his speed. Obviously the outfield had difficulties getting to the ball because under normal circumstances you would never expect Carter to score on an inside the park home run. Tim Raines, yes. Andre Dawson, yes. But not Gary Carter.

that is brutal. But baseball is a long season. You'll have things turn in your favor eventually.
I can't shave with my eyes closed, meaning each day I have to look at myself in the mirror and respect who I see.

I miss the old days of Operation Sports :(
