Stealing 2nd, with runner also on 3rd?

Stealing 2nd, with runner also on 3rd

I had 1st & 3rd, my speedster on 1st. I wanted him to steal 2nd to get in scoring position, but my runner at 3rd to stay put.

I hit L1 for both to take a lead. Then I hit L2+O and released. Unfortunately both runners went and I got tagged out at home.

Did the both go because I led both with L1? I was under the impresion from the game manual that L2+O is the command specific ONLY to the runner on 1st. (O runner)

    Thoughts?

Use L3 to target a runner (as you do while normal baserunning), and then press L2 while targeting to instruct that runner to steal.

Is it possible that you accidentally held onto L2 without still holding onto O? I use Classic Baserunning, and I just hold onto O, and then tap L2 and let go of both when I'm ready to queue up my steal -- this way I don't accidentally send both runners.

This is exactly how I do it. Press O FIRST, then L2...

It literally says how to steal each specific base on the screen under the runner windows.

You'll feel a slight feedback vibration if you've done it correctly.

It says L2+O but when you do it that way they both will go. It should say O+L2.

I've tried that and I had both runners attempt to steal

I do what the commands say under the runner window and it has worked every time.
