Analog pitching meter malfunctioning

Maybe it's my controllers? But lately I've been experiencing a lot of issues with the analog pitching meter, basically when I aim by moving the analog stick it isn't responding correctly and is choppy, very annoying and makes pitching way harder

Anyone else having this issue?

Have you tried it with the other pitching options? They all function the same for aiming i believe. Sounds like a controller issue to me.

Still having the issue, some games everything is smooth but quite frequently I'm experiencing choppy analog pitching, delayed swings, and choppy menu navigation. Basically it's like when your computer freezes up and everything you were trying to type while it wasn't responding quickly shows up on the screen, everything's just choppy. It's not input lag the tv I'm using is perfect for gaming except for like 30 % of my mlb 15 games, some games are unplayable but more often it's a couple-few at bats or half innings where it's choppy. Maybe my controllers but it happens with both and they seem fine..

That doesn't sound like a controller issue, nor does it sound like an issue with analog pitching. Maybe there's something wrong with your system or game. Are you playing online? Possibly lag.

It happens to me as well, exactly how you described it. It has started recently, I'd say, within the last 1-2 weeks. I've been analog hitting and pitching for months now with no issues, but now at random times, it will start to act unresponsive in a way. Once, I pulled back to windup, and the meter stopped as if I let go of the stick, although I was holding it down the whole time. Other times, I'll push up to throw the pitch, and there's a brief sec of lag before the meter responds to the stick input.

This lag has also affected me when batting, albeit not as much as it has pitching. I thought maybe it was because my controller was too far away from the system or there was something between me and the system that was blocking the signal from controller to system, but that doesn't make sense as I've been playing the exact same way in the exact same seat since the game released without issue, so it can't just be a signal issue in my opinion. Luckily, this doesn't happen often, but when it does, it usually doesn't lead to good results either, so there's that.

EDIT: for the record, I play franchise offline and RTTS only. Haven't played RTTS enough in that time span to say it happens in that mode too or not.
