    Guess pitch feedback

Trying guess pitch to combat my issues with the changeup. I've tried default, classic and PCI feedback. According to the online manual, the ball is supposed to light up but I must be missing it. I press R2 to bring up the pitches and, while holding down R2, press the button of the corresponding pitch. I'm not seeing a thing. Can someone tell me what I should be seeing and when?

    Thanks for the help

The ball will flash red out of the pitcher's hand if you guess pitch correctly. If you guess on both pitch type and location and only get one or the other correct, you'll see no feedback. Guess both correctly and you'll get a location in the strike zone lighting up + the ball flash red.

Here is my suggestion, Instead of guessing changeup, Guess four seam fastball, This will allow you to sit on the four seam fastball and if the pitch doesnt light up red you know its probably something offspeed, That doesnt mean the pitch cant be a two seam fastball or a cutter or sinker but you will definitely know the pitch is not a four seam fastball thus allowing you to wait longer before you swing. It helped me when i first started this years game. Dont guess location just pitch type for this to work.

If you set it to Classic feedback, and you guess right on both pitch type and location, it will show you a little red circle that indicates EXACTLY where the pitch will land. So you can just protect against the low changeup each time. If he throws a high changeup, it won't tell you anything, but you'll at least be able to protect against swinging at the low changeup in the dirt. I mostly use this on 2 strikes just to protect against a dumb swing. But when you see that little red circle show up and the pitch is down in the dirt and you can just take your hands completely off the controller, it's a major relief. I also will use this on the slider away when I have a lefty on lefty, or a righty on righty matchup.

Thanks for the responses. Maybe my age is finally catching up with me. I'll keep trying...won't have a chance to play for the next week or so. Appreciate your help.
