Dumb Q maybe - It's not possible to add AAA/AA/A players?
Maybe this is a dumb Q but there's no way to add AAA/AA/A players to your organization other than through trade with another team? There's no "FA" of sorts?Tags: None -

There is a FA screen. Im in the off season right now so im not sure exactly what screen it is on. But it is there somewhere. -

If there is a way to add FA to your minor's system, I haven't found it other than releasing a 40 man roster spot and working the system. This is a big issue imho. (Maybe I'm wrong...if I am, so be it.
I've actually discontinued my franchise work for now. RTTS is my focus.
It doesn't make any sense. I can't round out my AAA/AA/A rosters and I can't go get players to develop. Makes this franchise experience very frustrating.
Anyone with clues on how to do this, I would be appreciative too.Comment

You simply go to acquisitions, free agents, and add what players you want. As long as you have fewer than 90 players in the org as well as sufficient budget room, you should have no issue.
After you sign the player you can move him to whatever level you want.Comment

Yes you can do all of this, but you can not create any new players once the Franchise starts. The only place you can create new players is inside of a Roster file. It would be nice if this changed in future years. It would also be nice if there was some sort of player import capability once a Franchise/Season has begun. I believe this is on the table down at San Diego Studio, and we can only wait to see if it ever makes it into production.Comment
