OF Throws

or should I say no throws? This isn't the 1st time this happened to me but its def the worst situation!
Playing Rockies (I'm Cubs) and they have runner on 1st and 1 out with Cargo batting. Runner takes off and Cargo hits a line drive 2 hop to Soler in RF. Knowing I'm not throwing runner out I throw to 2nd. Hit the throw button and Soler pump fakes, hit it a 2nd time Soler pump fakes again and runner scores and Cargo goes to 2nd, go to throw a 3rd time Soler pump fakes again and Cargo hasn't stop running. So now I'm trying to throw home cause Cargo not stopping and Soler pump fakes once again and Cargo gets a inside the park HR. At that point I shut off the game.
I love the Show and love this game more than any other sport game out there but this is year 2 of the issue and it's ruining the game for me as a Whole! I hope they look into this issue cause if they don't I don't think I'll make it thru a full year of this!

Turn off the throw canceling in your settings, it will stop the pump fakes.

Since the patch I am having a problem close to yours. Instead of pump faking they just stand there and hold on to the ball. It's happened in the outfield 2 or 3 times now, and on the infield once.

As for your problem it sounds like you might be double tapping the button activating the throw cancelling. That's the only time I have seen them pump fake like that.

my problem doesnt sound as bad but my outfielders catch the ball to throw back in to the infield but instead even with runners on base they just casually throwing it back in when i want them to throw it back in hard. really annoys me.

Turn off the throw canceling in your settings, it will stop the pump fakes.

Mine has always been off and doesn't work. I have issues too with runners advancing and OF's just not getting rid of the ball in a hurry. Or I throw to the cut off guy and the cut off guy holds on to it too long as well. Also noticing snap throws from the catcher are pointless again as last year I got a few guys out at first using snap throws.

So you were most likely double tapping the button and didn't even know.

You were canceling your throw over and over lol, that's just user error there. I wouldn't recommend turning throw canceling OFF, because it's useful. Just realize what you're doing and now that you know throw canceling is a thing, you can be aware and not double tap unless you actually want to cancel your throw and throw to a different base.

In that situation you should be throwing it to the cutoff man, by the way.

Oh, and on the subject of outfielders throwing, I've had quite a few instances of my outfielder(s) throwing rainbows to the center of the diamond when trying to throw a runner out at home. It's happened from all 3 outfield positions, and with guys with at least very good arms, from shallow parts of the outfield. The worst instance was with my DD player, and he has 99 in all fielding stats (plays RF for me).
