Pitchers getting hit by comebackers and the snap throw
Ok so I think the pitchers getting hit at least once a game by a comebacker up the middle every game is way too much. And it has cost me too many outs when they should be singles up the middle. Occasionally the ball with hit off the pitcher far enough for the batter to reach first safely. So annoying. Also last year the snap throw seemed to be in play as I got a few guys out at first that way. Not this year. And I notice the opposing runners aren't taking secondary leads this year.Colts fan

Re: Pitchers getting hit by comebackers and the snap throw
This has been an issue for a long time with the series. At this point I'd propose just letting the majority of balls hit up the middle clip through the pitcher, or have the hitting system programmed to not allow balls to be hit in locations that can collide with the pitcher's model. People in the past asked that if it did hit the pitcher, at least have them come out of the game or get injured. But if that was the case nearly every game would end with the pitcher getting injured.Comment

I can beat that! Matt Harvey on the mound, cpu fouls off a pitch and they say Harvey got hit in the head with the ball, (the ball never came close), Harvey on DL now. I'm like what the heck is that all about?Comment

Re: Pitchers getting hit by comebackers and the snap throw
I was actually in the field there. I still laugh when I look at that.
But back on topic, that's the only time that's happened to me defensively. Offensively, I've hit the pitcher a few times. Once directly in the face and couldn't believe there was no injury. Wish I had saved the replay too.
Also, I'm getting tons of hits in my RTTS directly between opposing pitcher legs. Defensively, that video above is the only time I've taken it off the had.

Re: Pitchers getting hit by comebackers and the snap throw
In RTTS I hit the same pitcher in two of my ABs in the same game. Was safe on one because of my speed. The other, it ricocheted off the pitcher and I ran over it as I was half way up the base line, right to the catcher as he was running up to first as backup. He immediately threw it to the first baseman for the 1-2-3 out. Both times the pitcher stayed in game.Make #FranchiseNation great again!

Re: Pitchers getting hit by comebackers and the snap throw
Had a line drive hit my RttS pitcher and bounce off him, up in the air, to end up being caught by the third baseman... not a hair was knocked out of place or an injury to be had..____________________________________________

Bounced off the pitcher straight up to the pitcher for the 3rd out.
