What takes less time getting to Majors Closing Pitcher SP or Hitter
I have a question what would take less time getting called up to majors. A Closing Pitcher or a Hitter. Say I made a Hitter and just wanted to hit would it take more time getting to majors. Than if I field hit and Baserun. And Closer how long about does it take What about a SP how long aboutTags: None -

All depends on skill and team needs I am guessing.
Likely a pitcher is my guess....doubt anyone can day definitively as there is too many factors at play here!Former Bison, Argonaut, TSN and Sportsnet employee.

Depends if you mean real time or in game time.
I have 2 rtts going.
The one I'm a center fielder I got called up in September and then made the team in spring training year 2 but it took a lot of playing.
in my closer rtts I still haven't got called up and I'm half way thru year 2 but because I only play every few games it's gone fast.2016 NLL Champion Saskatchewan Rush

Re: What takes less time getting to Majors Closing Pitcher SP or Hitter
ya it seems random and team basis. but my closer got called up at the start of my 2nd year because my team decided to trade away their major league closer to make room for me it seems yet i wasnt even the next highest overall closer there were 2 above me. so now im just a bullpen pitcher because i didnt do to well being a 65 overall closer in the majors.Toronto Blue Jays
