    CPU stealing home!!

This happened for the 2nd time now in a short peroid, the CPU stole home. Actually it was a double steal attempt for 2nd base and home. Late innings, tie ballgame, 1 out. I was so perplexed that I threw to 2nd before I could even realize Phillips was heading for home plate. I mean Brandon Phillips not Billy Hamilton lol. If this was online I would call the other guy cheeser for sure.
If I was prepared I guess an easy out so I'm not sure why the CPU would try it and challange me like that. What do you guys think is this any realistic?

Edit: 2nd photo should be on top obviously. (Can post a video too)

I do this to the computer once in a while. Especially a close game late. I will steal second and delay steal from 3rd if I have a quick guy on third. Pulled it off once to win the game in the bottom of the 9th.

No delay here at all, rather delayed steal-attempt of 2nd base compared to home. See below, he goes straight home before even Fraizer is going for 2nd. Also Phillips only has a 56 speed and 21 stealing rating.

Sorry to kind of change the topic. But what is the best way to do a delayed steal of home on a throw atempt to 2nd.

There is no cheese about the play. Even if you are playing online that's not cheese. If you aren't paying attention to the guy on third, that's your problem. That is a perfectly legit baseball play.

Acutally thinking it through again you are right, it's legit, no cheese in any way. I and everybody else has to be aware that anything can happen with a runner on 3rd and less than 2 outs, suicide squeezes, stealing home or god knows what.

Just take this thread as a heads up.

On the other hand I still find a bit weird to be challenged like that by the CPU, I mean there was no indication that I didn't pay attention to that runner on 3rd. The CPU was basically just taking a chance sending both runners at the same time counting on me being a creature of habit who always throws to 2nd when somebody is stealing (which I am, I guess I'd have thrown to 2nd if nobody was trying to steal it!). If my catcher just kept the ball the runner home would have been out by a mile. Also I'm pretty sure that I won't make this mistake again and this will make it an automatic easy out next time the CPU attempts a play like that and it can and will probably decide a few close games like that in my favor.
