    Change game length

So you can't change the number of innings on a game in franchise. Why. Just why.

Because this game is attempting to be more sim than not, and creating a game shorter than 9 inning would do all kinds of wonky things with CPU AI and pitcher management.

In other words like most everything else with this game it caters to a minority of douchebags that can't get it through their heads that casual play is not a bad thing and their not the only ones playing this game

Baseball is 9 innings. Always has been and always will be. If you cannot dedicate the time required to play a full game perhaps something like quick counts or fast forwarding is more for you.
