The Dallas Cowboys give them a run for their money. Their white jersey look is so unique and instantly recognizable.

Michigan Football has the winged helmets that are also instantly recognizable.

The Lakers purple/gold is right up there as well.

All very recognizable, but Michigan isn't pro sports and the other two teams don't have nearly as long of a history as the Yankees do.

Yes it pretty much is. SI and other sports related magazines and shows have done the studies to prove such a statement to be pretty accurate. While a lot of people may not follow baseball, the pin stripes are synonymous with the New York Yankees. That along with their NY logo and you have easily the most well known and highest grossing logos / unis of all time. The Cowboys and Lakers are also on the short list but neither of them come close to the Pin Stripes and NY.

I added that caveat, since I just don't like comparing professional sports with college sports when it comes to anything, not just uniforms. In any event, I still think the pinstripes are more iconic/recognizable either way.
