Mercy rule needs to be enforced in top half of an inning as well.

Teams who are home and get down by more than 3-4 runs will bean/wild pitch you repeatedly, till you either out last their patience, or quit and take the loss. If the Mercy rule would also take effect in the top half, this would eliminate this exploit.

Man this kinda stuff just annoys me. I live in Australia and playing Madden online I get penalized for having "latency" and apparently that makes me a cheater cause they think I'm using a lag switch when I'm not, so I get kicked out of games randomly for no reason. I haven't even bothered with baseball. Even when I lived in the US, online sports games are a bit of a joke because of how people play.

Not really worth all the headaches to me.

I understand what you are saying, but this doesn't happen every game, just when you deal with sore losers. This should be a rather easy fix.

Excessive beaning/walking just to annoy the opponent has been a common cheese online like forever.

Ejection was introduced recently which is good, but I think the online game needs to be forfeited and stop immediately, giving the other side a win once a gamer starts doing this.

No need to waste time watching all those runs scored.

It was 36-2 last night before the schmuck finally got tired and tagged me out on a wild pitch. He could have kept refusing to tag me and who knows how long it could have been drawn out.

Adjusting the mercy rule, would at least limit this a little bit.

The beans started after a home run made it 8-2. In the 4th.

People will always find exploits in the online game. They did in NBA 2k15 as well.

I get that, that doesn't mean we should just sit idle and let it happen either. Especially with something thats should be a pretty easy fix.
