    The Mid Summer Classic

I just finished playing the All-Star Game. No other All Star event compares in my mind to the MLB All-Star game. Pitting the best of best against each other without changing the integrity of the sport is something that no other sport does.

I was the NL of course and I beat the AL 4-1 thanks to great pitching and a timely 2 run homer off the bat of Hunter Pence in the 7th. Since the All Star Game was in Cincinnati, I decided to let Chapman pitch the entire 9th inning for the save in front of the home crowd.

I only sent one player and that was Trevor Rosenthal who faced one hitter. The Nationals were well represented with 5 players in the game with 3 starting pitchers (Fister, Zimmerman, and Strasburg)

The only issue I have with the game is that the cpu still doesn't handle its roster as I would expect/want for an All-Star game. So I sub for the cpu (hitters only) as I would for my team. Hopefully this is something the team at SCEA can look at and see if there is any way of getting the cpu to get more players into the game.

Outside of that, which isn't that big of deal considering you can make the changes, the game was fun to play. You want to see the true beauty of MLB '15? Play the All-Star game where the best players in the game are playing it.

Now on to the 2nd half of the season

    Please share your ASG moments.

I just played my AS game in my 1987 Yankees Franchise.

I founf the CPU sub pattern to be fine. They brought in new pitchers almost every inning and replaced several hitters in the field in the second half of the game.

Not as often as I did....but good enough to give me the imemrsion I want. Also in ST they sub great again (which was bugged on 14).

How late into he 2nd half of the game did they start subbing? I watched the AS game a couple days ago and had to go in and sub the position players at the start of the 7th. Pitchers were subbed out fine.

Yeah it was like 8th inning when I played the AAA asg. Not everyone got in.

Pitchers I leave alone but position players I sub

The other thing I would like to see them do is copy something they do in Homerun Derby, and that is put up the team logo next to their batter walkup stats. I know they can't do the uniforms and while this wouldn't be as important in the MLB game, it would be nice to have in the Future's, AA, & AAA All star games.

Alright i played the ASG it was fun. They Subbed plenty. I had fun throwing with the flame throwing relievers. Only complaint was that Trout wasnt in it even though hes currently inline for silver slugger and the two SS options were aybar and bloomquist. Neither has the numbers of reyes, didi, hardy or escobar right now in my chise.
