Remember that while the potential is higher for these teams, your expectations are, too. If you pick the Rockies, you may be happy just finishing above .500 or making the playoffs. But with the Dodgers, only a World Series will feel like a "win" to you. Thus one could argue that the difficulty scales proportionately with the quality of the team.

And none of those teams are the Yankees of the 90's. They all have serious weaknesses, and you will still be challenged if you REALLY want to be certain you'll bring home a ring. You'll have to make a few trades to, for example, get yourself better #4/#5 pitchers for the Dodgers, or more reliable hitting for the Royals.

After all, if you're the Dodgers, Nationals, Royals, or Cardinals, you're still concerned about the other 3 teams in that list, none of which are easy opponents.

Whatever team is the top overall rated team in the game... it is that simple... which i would think would be the Dodgers, or the Nationals.

The Royals are a contender but playing on HoF pitching definitely makes it more of a challenge with their starting rotation

Yea the rotation is the reason I didn't put them on the list. I guess not real life Ratingswise one of the worst in the game to be honest.
