End of game stats question
I noticed this in last years game too and never got around to asking, but the NP stat at the end of games, I am safely assuming is Number of Pitches. I am going off memory here but I think its usually shown with the starters stats. But the number is often 150-160ish. Is that giving the team's total number of pitches, or the starters. I don't think it would really mean anything if its the team's stat, but if its the starter's there is no way its even close. I usually don't have my starter go more than 7 innings. Thanks for any input.Go Blue!!

Re: End of game stats question
I figured quick counts were involved, but it will show say in the 7th inning that hes at 100 pitches. But the end of game NP shows like 130 for example. Doesn't bother me at all just thought it was odd.Go Blue!!

Re: End of game stats question
Its due to how they handle the quick counts. The last pitch of every at bat isnt counted during the game but it is after.Comment
