I hope they fix this with the next patch (RTTS)

(dear moderators, I am not trying to disrespect the forum, I'm not purposely doing anything to get my thread locked or deleted, i'm simply asking trying to get a resolution on this)

In RTTS, when your player is leading the league in any offensive category, the game simply does not acknowledge it. at all. this is the first year that this has ever happened, and is clearly a glitch.

I will break this down further

- the game does not acknowledge either graphically or audibly that you are leading the league in hits, averages, homeruns etc etc..

- in years prior, it would say "he is currently ___ in the league in homeruns/average/RBI" or "the watch is on for the triple crown"

- in FRANCHISE MODE with my created player, my guy is 7th in the league in hitting, the game acknowledges this with a graphic and matt vasgersian saying it.

i posted this on SONY's web site, they deleted my claim, then when the patch was released it was not fixed.

It does say it in RttS. I've had it mention it a few times...things such as 3rd in the league in hitting, etc.

can you please show me proof of this? because it is possible that its my copy of the game

you're the second person that's said this on this forum, and the second person i've asked for proof of such..i'm not being combative or difficult i'm seriously just trying to see if it's my copy of the game

It might be a while as my RttS player just started a new season so that type of stuff doesn't show up for a few weeks into said season. I think I'm at game 6 or 7 of the new season.

i think you also have to be qualifying in said category, like you could be leading in batting average but if you have not been at the needed at bats to qualify then it nullifies you.

im trying to see what the problem is because im currently leading the rangers in homeruns and i get the graphic and audio on almost every starting at bat since im near the end of the season

I think I know what your talking about. The problem is that they don't mention it when you walk-up to the batters box like they do for the CPU players if they are leading the league in a category and they highlight the stats, example, Leading the National/American league in HR/RBI's/ AVG etc. I don't remember if this was in RTTS MLB14, I don't think so.


They do however mention it once in a while when you reach base. They show a banner if you are leading the League in Doubles,Triples,AVG and HR like the screen shot above.

no, not the TEAM the LEAGUE. this is a glitch.

I'm getting this same exact graphic, in previous years of playing RTTS on PS3 and last years copy on PS4

it will say "leads the league in 2 of the three triple crown categories" or "4th in the league in RBI" when you walk up to the plate not other graphics in the game and not when you are on base

in fact it will say this for your teammates when you are on base but not YOUR player.

trust me, this is a glitch.

yes, when you come up to the plate and you are in the top 10 in homeruns, batting average, and RBI, matt vasgersian AND the graphic usually notates this

they've done this in previous versions of MLB THE SHOW, this year it doesn't do it.

and again, in my FRANCHISE with my created player, it does this, but not in RTTS.

I always lead the league in steals, and they usually mention it in my first at bat. Either before the first pitch or after the first pitch.
