I've seen this a couple times also, I feel right on the pitch but I just swing through it.

This happens to me at least 2-3 times a game. i have started to take note on how many times it happens now. however you mentioned a strikeout situation i did not really feel too concerned with what the situation was for me. but this happens way too much. surprised this is not brought up more around here.

I've always heard that it's a compressing issue in the replay system. While it looks like the ball went through your bat in the replay, you really swung over it in real gameplay.

That was back on PS3 and I supposed it could still be what's happening on PS4.
If it is true, it's a shame because there is no other way to see what really happened at full, gameplay speed.

Why does a pitcher not get any points for hitting stats or stolen bases. Who knows this game is weird af
