I'm the tigers in US Cellular park. Abreu hits a pop up to right. Get my fielder camped under it then cpu decides that the ball should fall 5 feet behind him. Then of course next batter smacks two run homerun. THEN in the 7th I'm rallying from that crap and Iglesias takes second on a wild pitch. Then cpu decides he should steal third. I hit no button for him to steal and. of course he gets gunned. down And ends the rally. WTF!!!!

It was unreal. Put the fielders in the fielding circle and ball drops behind him and Iglesias steals on his own power. Never seen anything like it in the game. Lost the Game. I would like to have seen the video as well as there likely is a logical explanation for each occurrence.
To the fielding error -- the game does have wacky fielding "spots" where the animation will not trigger; I prefer to go with auto fielding until SCEA fixes it as it just adds to the frustration. I know what you're referring to as I would run to the catch indicator spot and it's the right position where I cannot camp under it or run to it on a fly; I have to figure out a way to have my fielder "casually" go to it...I usually fail. :o
To the HR ball afterwards...I'm sure you've capitalized when the AI messes up too, right?? That's playing devil's advocate though.
When we get into deeper innings, if I'm using a SP then control becomes a bigger issue and I have to pitch differently and with more focus than I did at the start of the game; I can't keep repeating the same pattern as the AI will pick up on my tendencies. Maybe that has a factor?
To the "non" steal attempt...I think you may have hit a button incidentally as I've done that myself. Sometimes though, my button mistakes have paid off (check swing, anyone??) so it's give and take as I see it.

If you have it on auto baserunning they will steal on their own sometimes, if not, then I don't know because I use auto.Comment
