    Wind Option for Games?

I'm just curious what everyone else's feeling is on this. One thing that I would like to see next year and going forward is the removal of the wind slider and have a wind option just like you do to choose weather. Maybe have settings like, Calm, Breezy, Windy, Blustery.

It seems that with the wind slider at default, I never see windy games, (15+ MPH) even when playing at Wrigley Field or AT&T Park. Not saying that every game should have significant wind, but it would be neat from time to time to play in conditions where the wind has a major, major impact on the game.

The wind is very effective for me, but only at the stadiums it should be. Wrigley and att for the most part

It would be best if they could create a system that mimics real life weather patterns so we don't have to worry about weather.

To answer the question, yes. It would be easier to have this option pre-game than trying to remember to go into options and adjust the slider when playing at Wrigley.

While they are at it, it would be great if the wind was dynamic throughout the game, like in Tiger Woods. Sometimes it changes direction, sometimes it swirls, sometimes it picks up and dies down.

I agree, I would like to see this setting added to the game, as the wind don't ever seem to be gusting in the game too where it has a impact on ball hit or players misplaying a fly ball due to the high winds.

Honestly Im not sure the wind in this game actually has much impact, I know it use to at 1 time, but the last couple years I cant say I have noticed it playing a role in the game. I have been thinking on jacking up the wind slider to see it it actually does do anything.

I think wind should be a factor. It doesn't seem to affect play right now. I don't even know where to look for the measure of it in the current game?

Don't really care. Random is fine.

I want game postponements. Don't need to see a rain delay but want the option available so players can be rested. Managerial decisions on starters need be made. Doubleheaders need to be planned.

I think it has an effect on the game now. I've seen balls carry and get knocked down because of the wind. I was just looking for an option where you could have extreme wind conditions.

To find wind for the game, pause and then look in the upper right hand corner. You'll see the wind speed and direction.

I just want the wind to work. Played a game last night, 19mph wind blowing right to left, never effected one single hit ball. Lazy fly ball to right and they would just keep going to the right. A wind that strong should move it back the other way some. Pop ups, straight up and down, no drifting to the left at all.

I've only seen it that much 2 times, so it doesn't happen often. It doesn't matter though, it never effects the ball no matter what it is.

I've had the wind slider at 9 or 10 for like 5 years in a row.

It'd be great if I didn't have to do that next year.
