    Cold streaks

Does anyone know anything about cold streaks in Franchise mode? I've had 4 or 5 of my batters with the snowflake icon now for a few weeks. First of all, what does that mean? Is it just a reflection of my hitters poor stats as of late, or does it mean their actual ratings have gone down somewhat? And how do I get out of cold streaks that have lasted 2 months in some cases?

It just means there stats are not good lately. I don't know if the ratings go down.

I believe it ties to the "who's hot/who's not" statistics, which is based on the last ten games iirc. So even if a guy has had the snowflake for two months, if he hits .345 for ten games, he'll have the fireball for the next "cycle."

idk, salvador perez had a snowflake for an entire season once, he hit .197 with 6 home runs, 23 RBIs, rated 98 overall. he couldn't throw out any stealing runners either when I used to get them every time. I paid that ****er 11 million dollars for that season

I think in hot/cold streaks players get a small rating boost/hit.
