Re: Baseball is better, and now bigger!!
Before I got the 80 incher, I played for a coupe years on a 73 inch, but gave that to my dad, and for years I used a 48 lg. Funny story, back in the day, when the ps1 was the thing, I loved Jedi Power Battles, but played it on a 24 incher. My friends couldn't understand how I could be so good at a platformer when they had problems with full sight. So one day a couple years ago, I found the game and tried it. I couldn't get past the first level, because for a game like that, smaller is better for me! A big screen for that game is no good with only sight out of 1 eye.1458, not counting playoffs, that's the number of games in a row I haven't missed! Go Yanks!Comment

Re: Baseball is better, and now bigger!!
I have been playing on a 46" LCD that is 1080p but I also have a projector at 100" in the basement that is only 720p. My PS3 is still down there and I haven't hooked the PS4 up to it yet. Now you guys have me thinking more about it. I just thought that the lower resolution would be disappointing but maybe with the increase in size, it would be worth it.Comment

Re: Baseball is better, and now bigger!!
I tend to disagree. I personally like playing on a smaller screen.
Well, not small...... but 32 inch Phillips smart TV... I feel like its must crisper. But yet again, I don't really have "Next Generation" TVs in my house, they're more the older ones. I started playing on a 50 inch Sony big screen that has been in my house since like 2006... making the switch made the game color and appearance so much crisper..Comment

The near 4k res makes it even better! My sharp isn't a true 4k set, but you can't tell the difference between it and the 4k sets. And it can play 4k content.1458, not counting playoffs, that's the number of games in a row I haven't missed! Go Yanks!Comment

Re: Baseball is better, and now bigger!!
So stoked right now! Guys just left from delivering my new Vizio 65" 4k and I am about to spend a few hours giving it a go!
BTW, the Vizio M65 4k is a killer deal. Just came out in April or May and is only $1700 for the 65 and 1500 for the 60. I mean thats still a lot for a TV but for a 4k screen it is like $1000 less then it would have been a year ago.
Man it looks SO much better already and I'm only in the menus (Im stepping up from a 50" 1080p LCD that was about 8 years old haha).College Football: USC
NBA: Rip City!
NFL: Seahawks/Bengals
MLB: Mariners/Reds

Nice that is a 15inch difference to not bad. I have a 37 inch 720p tv that up scales to 1080p and I plain on upgrading in a few years when the lamp goes out and getting like a 55 inch 4K 3DTV. I am hoping by then a tv like that will be $800-1000. Before thee 37 inch tv I had a 19 inch tv lol. The 37 inch tv I have had for like 7.5 years.Comment
