    Why does the sound differ from rts to standard gameplay while hitting.

    When hitting in rts the sound is great, you can hear the zip of the pitch as well as the pop of the catchers mit. In standard gameplay the sound of the ball and pop of the catchers glove is almost non existent. Is there a reason for this.

    I would assume it's because rtts is supposed to be as if you yourself are in the mode so the sounds are closer/louder and more immersive. I'd venture that a regular game is more of an overall/broadcast ambiance sound setting than having everything field level and close.
