Re: getting close to hitting streak record!

I broke the record in MLB 09 I think, maybe it was MLB 10. Anyway, got up to 61 games. I had a 99 rated player in every category, so it wasn't as hard back then when hitting in the game was easier, also. Finished the season with over 50+ home runs, and pretty sure I broke Ichiro's hits in a season record the same year. Finished with a .410 batting average or something like that over .400, and 180 RBI or so.

No way could I do that now unless I put the difficulty down to Rookie. Hitting in The Show is just so much more difficult than it used to be in older versions of the game.

Well, my streak came to an end at 57!! Wish I could have gone more with it, but no luck. I play on all-star. I have 33 homers on July 3.
1458, not counting playoffs, that's the number of games in a row I haven't missed! Go Yanks!

Congrats. Its always fun to break streaks(Ripkens would be a huge challenge)

Closest I've come this year is 21 games with Curtis Granderson.

I recently had a 20-game hit streak with LoMo, which was cool considering his recent 18 game hit streak (I think it was 18)

I wanted to record a video for you guys, but got so excited, I forgot to do it! I think the 80 inch screen helped with the streak.

No, really... it was a weird reaction to a joke.
