Do you have a source for that being what they fixed? Because if it's the exploit I think you're talking about, people on reddit are saying it still works. So I hope there was more done than a fix that didn't fix anything.

Well the only source I have is that it was working last night...and now it doesn't for me as well as the person who discovered it. If it still works if sure like to know how they are pulling it off.

at ~800MB, I'd certainly think this was a full fledged patch, not a single bug fix.

Ok. It's not the method on reddit btw. This method worked wonders....anyway all I know is that 5 days later it's gone. Just letting you guys know.

I don't know about the exploit, since I don't use them, but you shouldn't be stating your assumption as fact. You assumed a large patch + server fixes were for a single issue, then decided to post it as fact in multiple threads. Seems weak.

Ha. Wow. Lovely community here. I was simply trying to inform you what I have gathered from it. It's no coincidence that 5 days later it's gone. I posted on two threads...that's about the patch...correct? How is that weak?

From what I hear they patched the offline exploit, not the other one.

How is that weak?

You don't get how proclaiming that the only thing the patch does is fix an exploit when you have no actual knowledge is weak? OK. Sure. Go back to finding ways to cheat at video games and leave the dispersal of facts to people who actually have them.

We have a keyboard warrior!!! If you enjoy paying money for stubs or playing for countless hours to get peanuts to try and collect a endless card collection then that's your thing. I'm not mad at all. Perhaps i should have worded my observation differently...with that being said I just wanted to let people know that the bug was gone a mere 5 days later.

All I know is I am very disappointed that the Offline Franchise issue has not been addressed. I just lost a franchise that was 4+ years in. And YES I have been saving it as I go, and NO I have not been playing any games, just simming. But all it took was ONE time where I hit the wrong link and I started playing the game. And at the end of the game it froze up. Not only that, but when I re-joined/reloaded the game my franchise saved files were completely gone. So therefore, 4+ seasons just vanished. I have been an avid supporter of the MLB The Show Franchise since almost the start. BUT this one is very close to losing me as a customer in the future and selling the store bought copy I have here.
