About to shoot my tv.
In the off season I end up losing guys I don't want to lose. I don't cut them and they are still under contract. These guys are rated A's and B's, some were draft picks. Everything is on manual not auto. I can't figure out what I'm doing wrong? Any idea's?"Take those guys over to the back fields, I wanna see if they can play on the road."--Sparky AndersonTags: None -
Re: About to shoot my tv.
I dunno where the hell they go, but they aren't on my roster anywhere. I even did a player search and they don't show up."Take those guys over to the back fields, I wanna see if they can play on the road."--Sparky AndersonComment

Re: About to shoot my tv.
They are under contract. The one guy was a my #1 draft pick the year before. When I go to manage contracts, there is nothing over to the right indicating arbitration eligible, qualifying offer or any of that."Take those guys over to the back fields, I wanna see if they can play on the road."--Sparky AndersonComment

Re: About to shoot my tv.
I assume you know this but you know you have to go in and manually sign your players after the draft right? And any player in your minor leagues need to be resigned every year.Comment

Re: About to shoot my tv.
Bet it's the rule 5 draft bro. If they aren't on your 40 man, after a period of time they are eligible for the rule 5 draft. Ended up losing a lot of prospects over the years due to this... just gotta add them to the 40 man before the draft to protect them.Comment
