This is just my speculation but I highly doubt it. The PS4 already received an update to play MP3s from a USB stick and custom music was not included in MLB 15's PS4 version.

My understanding is that the PS3 version of MLB The Show played music from the hard drive. Again, my speculation is that San Diego Studio would have to code an entirely new way to play music for the game on PS4, and new features are not patched into existing iterations.

I would predict that you may see this in MLB 16, but it will depend on how much of a priority they make it because work has to be done on it.

If you go to the Media Player and go to the manual it says you have to save the music in folders on the PS4. If I am not mistaken you had todo this on the PS3 as well.

It still says nothing about storing MP3's on the hard drive which I think is what's needed for SOTS?

Do we have confirmation on any of this? All I know is that the use of MP3's got patched in to the PS4. Obviously this would be an incredible development for everybody if we could use SOS!

Definitely a game/console buying must, for me, if this is implemented, for this years game. If not, role on MLB16.......

This is an absolute MUST have feature, and a reason alone for buying this game, and further a PS4.

The added dimension of realism is immeasurable, and just cant be matched by any other sports game on the market.

Keep pressing them on this! Dont settle for "we can't" or "itd be a 5th patch" or "it isnt important", it is THE most important part of the game and its a crime this is the 2nd year in a row on a next gen platform that we dont have it.

Cant blame the devs for it not being possible last year. And if for some reason they absolutely cant do it off of a USB and the songs have to be on a hard drive then again its not the devs fault.

I would LOVE for this to be included..but the devs have given us a wonderful game this year. I'm ok with waiting a year.

If for some reason they did patch it in. I would walk from Canada to San Diego find the person responsible for making it happen, give him a big mouth kiss, then run around their office making it rain with canadian money.

Just to be clear, the new Media Player specifically says that it plays media that is STORED ON A USB DRIVE

But you can connect to your network and share music files/videos. I added a sound of the show pack from MLB 13 and I could listen to the there, but went onto MLB 15 ans edit player, team etc under sounds of the show and it does not work. I think SCEA left sounds of hte show menus but the feature to import or add the music, when using media sharing its liek its on the ps4 hard drive all u do is add the file from the shared folder but this year it wont work adding to MLB 15.

You could play videos and music from a network on PS3. Pretty sure you couldn't use those files in sounds of the show. They had to be on the hard drive. I could be wrong though.
