    How does dynamic difficulty work?

I want to find a hitting level between veteran and all star as I find veteran too easy and all star too hard. I got it too veteran ++ then moved the dd sensitivity slider down to zero to freeze it (or so I thought) but next innings it's back to veteran again. How do I get it to that halfway point between veteran and all star and freezing it at that level?

You could try setting it to all-star and then moving all your hitting sliders up a click and seeing if you like how it plays. I don't know that you can truly freeze it.

For some reason I thought you could. I'm just getting annoyed now as I just cannot find a balance. I'm using armour and swords sliders and that middle ground between to two levels would be perfect

Ok first Veteran ++ isn't really a level it is a stage of DD. Let it grow to Veteran Progress ++++. Once it actually says Veteran+ with no progress meter after it you have moved to the level between Veteran and All Star. That's when you turn the slider all the way down to lock it.

Also if you want to set different levels for hitting and pitching here is the easiest way. Start an exhibition game. Pick one or the other. Say you choose pitching. Start pitching and when its your turn to hit fast firward thru it DD wont change when you sim. Once you have pitching set.do the same for hitting and then lock them both.

I believe it is four. It should look like this. Veteran Progress ++++. The next increase will make it Veteran+. Sorry for the typing im at work and using my work phone.
