    "Dad" Pitch settings

This is the first baseball game I have played on a consul. The issue I am having is with hitting, but only in franchise games. I have moved the sliders for speed(slowest setting), human timing (greatest window) CPU strike frequency and CPU consistency (supposedly strikes). However in games I can still draw a walk and still getting "too slow" response. In RTTS my guy is crushing the ball. It seams as if the settings are only working on RTTS and BP, not in actual games. I realize all batters have little nuances but to go from stud to dud really doesn't make sense. Anyone have any thoughts or experience this ? What I want is setting where every pitch is a strike so I can learn how to hit and how each of my hitters hit…Any ideas ?

I believe one of the Beginner difficulty settings is that the AI will only throw strikes.

Maybe you could set it to that to take "BP" and then put it back to your regular setting when ready to face "live pitching".

One of the things about Veteran and lower is an increase in strikes attempted. All-Star and up, the AI will intentionally work out of the zone more often.

If you really wanna practice, the Beginner mode difficulty would be good to start with.

There is a difference in how difficulty levels are configured in RTTS. On AA, you'd be playing one level lower than your difficulty setting while on MLB it is one level higher (this is explained in the in-game Strategy Guide). That may explain the difference in your experiences in different modes.

I play on veteran +. Does the ai throw work outside the zone as much on this setting as all star? I have really struggled at all star but seem to have found a sweet spot at veteran plus
