    Players stuck in minors

I started a franchise and the rosters I used had some players who were on the DL in real life in Single-A and only the clubs current 25 man roster was on the 40-Man roster (only 25 people on 40-Man). Because of this, every other team has only 25 guys on the 40 man and stars such as Yu Darvish are in Single-A ball. Is there any chance that the CPU will fix this at some point and when will that be. I know after the month of April the CPU suggests some minor leaguers who are doing well for promotion. Is that when the CPU will start tweaking their rosters and calling up some players?

Pretty sure they never get called up from A. I went in and edited every roster off of a recent OSFM update to make every player who should be on the MLB is regardless of real life injury before my franchise and did my best to organize every minor league team for all 30 organizations for each and every position. I did it by overall, but nearing the end of my spring training has the cpu rosters looking a lot better.

Yes if they are in A they are stuck their until next season. Next time you do it just move everyone to MLB before injuring them to that the CPU will have to do something with them when they come off the DL.

Better yet, use 30 team control with everything but roster moves set to CPU. This way you also avoid the AI running a team with 1 bench player and 10 bullpen arms.

I am having way more fun doing this. I move guys up and down daily when there are injuries and yet the AI still trades and picks guys up off of waivers.

Here is what I do in my 30 team control franchise for my team along with CPU teams

          Promotions

(All Fielders/Relivers must have played 1/3 of games at that level and Starters must have pitched at least 1/2 of season starts of the 5 man rotation.) Ex: I've played 40 games, then the 5 man rotation would have started 8 times each, therefore the player must have pitched 4 starts to qualify.

          AA-AAA

1st of each month - send a starter up/down based on ERA.

10th of each month - send a fielder up/down based on average.

20th of each month - send a relief pitcher up/down based on ERA.

*****All promotions end on August 20th based on potential playoff births*****

          MLB/AAA

At the 40, 80, 120 game mark, a fielder, reliever and starter will be moved up/down to the big squad based on Average, ERA, and Losses (with win % being the tie-breaker respectively.)

Cant do that anymore. Saves only work on the console they were started on.

Biggest attention area for this game is AI roster management.

How do you do that? I can't figure out how to do thirty team control and let the ai make trades.

You need to create a separate profile that is assigned to all of the teams you don't want 100% control of. Then be sure to put trades on CPU.

The frequency of trading has gone way down, in my mind, since one of the previous updates. So while you may have trades on CPU, you still might not see very many.

Love this. Pretty sure Scott made this up a while a go during his Rangers franchise. Works out pretty damn good.
