    Pitcher Confidence between innings

I was playing a game against the ChiSox yesterday, pitching with Corey Kluber. It was between the 5th and 6th innings, Kluber had 9 K's alreay thru 5 and was at nearly full confidence at the end of the inning. When he came back out for the 6th, the little yellow line in the pitching meter had gone from thick to thin just while he was waiting between innings. Is this supposed to happen? I'm not positive that his blue confidence meter went down any, but I had to strike out the 1st guy in the 6th to get the yellow line thick again.

i think it could also be like a temp boost that lasts only a inning or a couple of innings. or when his energy starts to get into the 1/3 of the bar where hes just on the cusp of becoming tired?
