Bunting with 2 strikes, batter fouls off ball, no out recorded, imming continues

Unreal: playing against Detroit. Rajai Davis to bat. Bunts foul the first 2 pitches, down 0-2 in the count. He gets the count to 2-2 (still trying to bunt runners over BTW). I throw inside on him on 2-2, he fouls the ball off, Umpire calls strike 3, and he continues to bat with a 2-2 count! He then gets down a bunt, Chisenhall eats the ball, Davis is safe at first and Chis is called for an ERROR!!? Seriously? Detroit then rallies for 3 runs and eventually beats me 4-2. All this happened with 2 outs and would have ended the inning! Why was Davis even trying to bunt runners over with 2 outs?!

The bunting with 2 strikes glitch? thread comes up as a suggested thread when creating a new thread. Just sayin.

I hear every time a thread about this gets made, an angel gets its wings.
