I'm going to use this as the awards thread for discussion.

As has been mentioned in some situations The Show hands out awards somewhat poorly based on the programming.

For me my biggest beef has been players with very little action winning gold gloves... well this morning I won the World Series and the World Series MVP was my back-up LFer who pinch hit for my pitcher in the third game of the series and hit a base hit. Can't recall if it was an RBI... anyway he hit perfectly in the five game series but the dude had one at bat. Such a silly coding error to see in 2015.

        No.

        Just put pitchers in.

        Minus Roger-*******-fatass-steriod-Clemens of course

MVP is prbably the worst for this game, cy young has too much emphasis on wins which we all know isn't overly important either
From what I've seen, strikeouts seem to be more dominate over both ERA and wins/losses. There have been many times for me a pitcher with fewer wins, higher ERA, but more strikeouts, he wins over the other.

One thing I know for certain is, deep into franchise mode, you rarely ever see a hitter win MVP. Mostly all MVP's go to pitchers. I'm 28 seasons in franchise mode now (I sim more than i play the games) and for a 10 year stretch, all MVP winners were pitchers. Once, I had 4 different pitchers on my team win MVP in consecutive years. Only recently did a position player of mine win it, but the next two seasons went right back to pitchers.

Yet another indication the pitchers are too overpowered deeper into franchise.
