One had lasted a few years, but had gotten to the point where it would take a while to fully turn on. And the other one was only a couple years old and started getting these dim spots that were almost like shadows on the screen. My next tv will likely not be a Vizio. LG's are great, but being on a budget, I'd probably end up going TCL or Hicense.

I had those exact same dim spots on my second replacement. I went through four replacements until I said enough is enough.

Also, Hisense makes some decent TV's for gaming. They are probably the best "budget" gaming TV's.

I have the U6G as my bedroom TV and have my Series S hooked up to it, and the input lag isn't bad at all. I believe it's around 10ms in 4K HDR 60hz. It's only a 60hz TV so that's the one downfall, but for the price it's understandable. I have my Series X on my LG C1, and playing The Show on both TV's the input lag is virtually the same, it's just the HDR and contrast aren't as good, but it does have pretty good local dimming, so the blacks are good. But apples to oranges comparing LCD and OLED.

HDR is pretty decent. It gets pretty bright. I wanna say it peaks into the 700's. Which is solid. So yeah, I do like Hisense TV's. Have had no issues with the panel, which some say it's a panel lottery TV. And $400 for the 50'', you really can't go wrong.

Quick note: It doesn't have some of the fancy gaming stuff like HDMI 2.1 or VRR. So if that's important to you, you'd have to go up in price to a higher end model. But even their higher end models are still reasonably priced for what you are getting.

I’ve had a Vizio since March 2016. It’s heavily used and still works great

My parents bought one in 2017 after they liked mine. Again, it was heavily used but they already had to replace it due to the dim spots. They got an LG for Christmas.

A lot of times it’s luck
