    Domination or Dominated

What hitters dominates you and vise versa, who do you dominate? For me, Jose Abreu is a strikeout victim every time he's up. On the other hand, I absolutely CAN NOT get Jason Hayward out.

    Re: Domination or Dominated

You know what, this year I have not had anybody that has dominated me. I've had guys that have had great games against me, but the next time I face them it's no big deal.

There is one guy though that I have dominated in this game. Giancarlo Stanton from Miami. I own his butt! I don't think I have given up a hit to him all season and I'm in September. I just finished a series in Miami and he struck out 5 or 6 times in the series.

I always pitch around Will Myers. If there is a base open he has two options, chase or walk. He's burned me too many times for me to give him another option.

Once I figured out that I needed to use the shift against him Steve Lombardozzi became an automatic out.

I'm very careful when I face Todd Frazier and Adrian Gonzalez.

Mike Trout is batting something like .037 against me with 125 strike outs.

Yasiel Puig has been one of these players that became a nightmare for me. Miguel Cabrera during the postseason was tough as well-mostly because before him I faced José Reyes (2) and after Cabrera (3) I had to face Kyle Seager (4)-.

Doesn't matter where I throw the pitch or what pitch I throw, heyward smashes it. Single double or worse he's always on base. Hell, one game he robbed me of a homer in the top of the inning and comes around in bottom half of inning and smacks a home run. Unbelievable

To this day, I own Albert Pujols. I don't know what it is, but he does not hit me well. I wish I would of tracked his stats against me from past Show's.

Other than a shutout breaking homer in my rookie season, I have owned Todd Frazier. On the other hand, Gordon Freaking Beckham destroys me.

Hayward issue started in my fantasy drafted career. He's still on st.Louis coincidentally. Gotten to the point I've thought about trading for him so I dont have to face him lol

The first 5 hitters of the Pittsburgh Pirate Lineup kill me every time:

                      1. Josh Harrison
                      2. Starling Marte
                      3. Andrew McCutchen
                      4. Pedro Alvarez
                      5. Neil Walker

I also CAN NOT EVER seem to get Matt Adams Out.

I always dominate Evan Longoria, Adam Jones, Mike Trout but get dominated by Manny Machado, David Ortiz, David DeJesus and Jonny Gomes.

I've absolutely shut down Votto. I honestly don't think I've ever given up a hit to him.
Scooter Gennett though, I've had many 4-5 hit games facing him, usually a homer in every game too

                            Re: Domination or Dominated

Ever since the Bryce Harper update I've been hitting bombs with him. I've noticed i'm also getting a lot more opposite field HR's with him as well. My avg with him in diamond dynasty went from .255 to .315 in about 25 games and i've also hit about 6-7 hr's

One guy that absolutely dominates me on the hitting side is Andrew McCutchen. It doesn't even matter if my pitcher is LH or RH

On the pitching side, I cannot for the life of me score more than 1-2 runs off Francisco Liriano. His release point where the ball disappears for the split second really screws me up. When I do score runs off him it's not usually until the late innings when he is around 75+ pitches or so.

Guys like Jean Segura give me fits. Hard to strike out, disciplined, makes productive contact - and if he finds a gap, it's a triple. Everything is work to stop him from getting a double.

Hitters I dominate is anyone with low discipline. I tend to try to induce chases with a lot of pitchers, so those guys tend to play into my hand (although they get annoying if they have high PVis also...then it's foul, foul, foul)
