Anybody else having problem hitting home runs with non-power-hitters?

In my Blue Jays franchise in which I have been playing every game and i'm in the end of July, I'm having major problems hitting homeruns with players that dont have 80 or higher power.
Like I obviously know theyre not supposed to hit 20 homeruns since they are non-power-hitters but in reality you still see a fair share amount of homeruns from them over the course of the season.

I'm talking about guys like Jose Reyes(4 this year, 9 last year), Devon Travis(7 this year), Kevin Pillar(7 this year). I could give you more examples from other teams but i assume you get the trend, they are all not power hitters yet over the course of the season they still hit a couple of dingers.
My problem is, they dont hit anything for me. While they dont have a terrible average and hit a fair share of extra base hits, they just hardly go over the wall. I've hit one with Reyes, one with Travis, none with Pillar.

    Anybody else having this problem?
I'm using directional hitting and playing on All-Star hitting difficulty using a realistic slider set from the forum here.
And its not like i cant hit homeruns either, im crushing it with EE, Bautista and Donaldson who all three have over 30 and both Russell Martin and Justin Smoak have more than 10. But then thats pretty much it. Recently hit a opposite field homerun with Ryan Goins but i couldnt explain that either, i was late on the swing and normally thats an easy out, this time just went over the wall.

They will be at or near what they should be by the end of your season.

Hell, in mine my guys with little pop are hitting them out. I'm the A's and with 3 games left in the season Sam Fuld has 7 and Eric Sogard has 4. In real life they have 1 combined. Baseball is a funny game.

If you play every game the power numbers for low-power guys will be more accurate to real life for the most part. My problem is the power numbers for low power guys when I sim. For example, I can manually drop Dee Gordon's power all the way down to 20-25 and he will still somehow have around 5 hr's at the all star break.
