Cpu players batting AVG's too low
Does anyone have an idea why, in RTTS, the other players that are of course CPU controlled, their batting averages are too low. There are only like 2 or 3 players AVG's in the .300's in the top ten in each level of leagues, Majors and Minors. Hardly anyone has a good batting average. Team batting averages are lower than normal too. Anyone know why? Sliders don't have anything to do with this correct?Tags: None -
Re: Cpu players batting AVG's too low
My only experience with simming is all of my minor league games in my franchise. I have noticed that, when simming, good hitters tend to get walked a lot, which can deflate their batting AVG. Try looking at their OBP.
For example, I have a really good switch hitting 1B prospect on my AAA team. At first I thought he was struggling this year, because despite hitting 8 home runs and getting 16 RBI in April, he was only batting .220. Then I looked at his OBP and it was around .440.
Their might need to be some tweaks to their simming system since walks happen a little (not a lot, just a little) too often, but I think there are just seasons where pitchers don't want to pitch to guys. -
