    Relief Pitching in RTTS

Hi I am wondering why there is no relief pitching in RTTS. I realize that there isn't many people that set out to be a reliever but I think it should be a option.

Is there a way to work around it? I tried to using the model around MLB player feature and putting a reliver to model my self around, but that just turned me into a closer.

Am I the only that fines being a closer being repetitive after awhile? Or being a starter gets kinda boring pitching every 5 days? I like the thought of being a relief pitcher because you can work out of jams and you pitch about 4 times a week.

    Thanks for the feedback.

I'm with you. I chose a closer at first because I thought it would be fun but it was actually really boring.

The Show follows popular opinion that your best RP should be your closer.

Honestly, I don't see why your best pitcher would come in with nobody on base.

But either way, that is something I've often lamented and have not found a work around.

Yeah it gets boring coming out in the 9th almost every game and facing 3 batters.

suck it up as a closer and you become a reliever. it is what happened to my first closer i made, the problem was, he was a 57 overall and got called up to the majors in his first year in double A(because the team traded away their main closer, so they called me up and i wasnt even close to being ready) then i just ended up becoming a reliever.

My 77 ovr CP is our best reliever. I have made 21 appearances as a MRP for the Red Sox and I have 10 wins and consistently go 3+ innings. I have tried to get the team to let me take over closer duties but the say I need more time to develop, our current CP(Tazawa) is an 85 ovr and he has blown 5 saves in his 20 chances. I figure that if i ever get to be the closer and I get tired of it I'll let my rating slip and get moved back into a MRP/LRP role.
