How do you choose to play

I am just curious to find out how each of us choose to play this game... i myself play out every game to its fullest. no skipping of cut scenes. no quick pitching, etc. So tell us how do you choose to play.

I play to play. Not watch. I see all the other stuff in real life basically every day for 7+ months in a row.

I play every game of every season. Most of the minor league games as well. I do not x out of cut scenes and let everything play. I play on default all star do not chase slider. I wait for OSFM V1 then I am off and running.

Already through two years of my Nationals Franchise and just started a Padres Franchise. I play this game every day until the next one comes out. My record is three complete seasons.

Few years ago I was talking with CountryBoy and he inspired me by how much he played in a game year and I have done this ever since.

I play MoM and absorb everything I can. I watch it all and love every minute of it.

Depends on my mood, this year I've been simming a lot of night games but playing most of the day games in my franchise. Love the new lighting in this year's game! I only wish we could choose game start times in franchise mode. Some of the late afternoon/early evening lighting is gorgeous at many of the stadiums.

But when playing, I do skip a lot of the cut scenes. I'll let them play if I'm drinking my morning coffee or evening beer, as the cut scenes give me time to take a drink. I also had been using quick counts quite a bit, but have backed off of that. I found a great sweet spot with my sliders and am getting very realistic pitch counts, walks, strikeouts, hits, and runs without quick counts now.

So yeah, that's how I've been playing MLB 15.

I play every pitch of every game for my team.

For the regular season, I do use Fast Play to skip the cut scenes. I go back to Broadcast for the playoffs.

Edit: I also use Season mode, since it's multiple seasons and I prefer just having to manage my 40-man roster.

I play all games in franchise, broadcast no quick counts but I'll often (but not always) x through scenes. I'll rarely sim the second half of a game if it's turning into a blowout, but I haven't done that since 14. I sim my minors 99% of the time but sometimes I'll player lock on a prospect of particular interest for a game for a quick peek at the minors.

I play all year long. I usually binge on and off throughout the year and I'll get about a season and a half a year done. With year to year saves now I'm in no rush.

I play out each game, no quick counts or anything like that, but I don't always watch the cutscenes, although there are some that I like, such as the unique sign a fan will hold supporting a certain team or pitcher.

I love franchise play. I play every game for the MLB level Braves... Cant skip a cut scene, there is a chance I might see something different.

I do Fantasy draft and play every game. Year to Year saves have been a life saver

I'm a big fan of NOT simming. I like to play the games out. Having said that, I work from 8p-5p, 3 kids, 1 wife. so this year i'm taking a different approach. this year I will have two wives........just kidding, relax.

in order to get through the season a little faster and do some offseasons, i'm playing the odd innings and simming the even ones, and playing out the extra innings. I find myself advancing at a pretty decent pace this way.

I've never been able to, but I'd like to play every pitch of every season. I'm hoping that I can do it next year.

I play franchise and will play the first game of a series, manage the next and sim the third. If it's a four game series I'll play it out. Helps with time and stats.
When I play out the game I'll skip but when managing I'll watch it all.

I play mostly RTTS and go through every cut scene with no abbreviated pitch counts... grated, it's easier and shorter only having one player to use, but I really feel like the "extras" help with immersion into the game.

I play 1 homestand and 1 road trip per month. prob the best sim/play combo ive done. sometimes ill pick the shorter homestand or roadtrip depending on who im playing and the standings....the simming can def make the unpredictable happen also so thats cringing time. just close the eyes and hope no one snaps a ankle
