    Fast Forward FUBR

I made the mistake of fast forwarding to END OF GAME in a assumed blow out to save some time.

Sadly I caught up and the game lasted 22 innings with Francisco Rodriguez pitching the final 13 innings and losing.

My question is - is he REALLY tired? or is this a normal tired? Will he need 5 days rest?

I would have lost much sooner with a batter??? pitching or a Starter.

Pretty sure it's a 'normal' tired, unless his energy was already low from pitching in the game before that one.

This is probably another thing the devs will have to look at. I had my closer, Jason Grili pitch 8 shutout innings in a game that lasted 18 innings or so, and I won. Jason freaking 40 year old Grili pitched 8 shutout innings with closer stamina. And just last night, I simmed a game from the schedule screen and went back and checked the box score. The game went 25 innings with each batter getting at least 10 AB's on my team.

Also, if you didn't know already, pitchers will use less stamina in game when you fast forward through that half of the inning compared to when you manually pitch, regardless of the pitch count. I've had many starters go full games with a 120+ pitch count, and still have 1/4 of stamina left when fast forwarding through innings I'm on the mound.

So, to answer your question, he should be good to go after a few days if his durability attribute is reasonable.

I've noticed that about pitchers and stamina. I want to make sure I get all 162+ games in so sometimes I need to catch up and fast forward a game for a double header.

I tune in in the 6th inning and my starter has like 59 pitches.

Carlos Gomez was 0-11 last night! LOL rough night!

I know what you mean. One of my guys went 1-10. No one had more than 3 hits with 10/11 AB's.

I also had a pitcher throw 60+ through 3 innings, but because I FF'ed through those halfs, his stamina was still around 75%... whereas if I were manually pitching those innings, his stamina would be below 50%, at the very least.

I think Grili lasted 5 full FF'ed innings before his stamina completely depleted. And then he pitched 3 more shutout innings with 0%!

When I FF's through the 1st 5 innings I always had to try to only go 7 innings unless the guy had a shut out of something.

It has its bonuses and drawbacks. My main goal is to get all 162 in before football or NBA take hold of my brain!
