Double steal with runners at First and third with 1 out?

Why does the CPU attempt a double steal when they have runners at First and third with 1 out? I see this happen more times then I can count. The runner at third is an automatic out every time at home plate!

I love MLB The Show like most of you but the CPU AI needs some major improvement going forward! They really do some dumb things that you would hardly ever see in a real game

Could this actually be a squeeze attempt and not a steal? I don't think I've seen home steals.

I have seen the double steal with runners at first and second and the suicide squeeze but never a flat out steal heading for home.

has to be the squeeze attempt as the AI does do this a lot

Yes, probably a squeeze since there are so many bunts in this year's game.

On a funny side note, I just had a double steal attempt against me with the pitcher on base (pitcher on 1st and a speedy guy on 2nd). I could have walked the ball out to second base and tagged him out.

I have seen this twice. It just cost me a game as I "fell for it" and threw to second. You don't initially see the runner from 3rd breaking for home, you load up the throw to second and the throw is off about the time the runner from 3rd appears on the screen.
My game was tied in the bottom of the 8th and this got the go-ahead, eventual winning run home.
It was not a squeeze but a double steal.

I wish more people paid attention to this particular issue. It's crazy that we have no way of knowing which bases are being stolen (and sometimes, no indication that anyone is stealing at all). It would be so easy for SCEA to just give us a flashing icon or something, but nope... nothing.
