****Official Raise Michael Conforto's attributes campaign****

I'm hoping at least one person at Sony/SCEA see's this post before season's end.

Two roster updates left in the season and one of the 5 best rookie position players to debut this season is in DIRE need of an attribute raise.

Conforto is currently rated a 67, despite a ton of success early in his MLB career.

Last night he launched his 8th home run in just 137 plate appearances (!).

Can you please leave this on the main MLB Show forum and not move it into the rosters section?

It's hard enough getting Sony to see posts on the main forums. I doubt they even check the roster section.

Conforto blasted a homer off me, using Tanaka. Now that I know hes still a 67 it hurts even more

This is the Rookie effect. He needs sustained success before they go nuts.

Remember Bo Hart? If you're not in St. Louis, you don't. But Bo Hart had about a month's span of games that made these numbers look like complete trash. Then he never hit above .200 in any month after that. This will likely not happen with Conforto. However, we need to take it easy until we see more from these Rookies.

Heck, Yasiel Puig had this effect. Once the pitchers figure you out, you fall back down.

Only 140 ab's, just can't be done at this point. So many players in baseball go on streaks, just not enough playing time.

It's not the end rating that I'm concerned with. It's his extremely low hitting numbers. Even if you don't raise his defensive numbers too much because he wasn't projected to play as well as he has with the glove, he was projected to hit like this. Conforto could go as high as 80-82 and I'd feel it not out of line because of how he drives the ball. I'd think contacts in the 60s power in the 50s and a slight bump defensively would be fair. He's not the only Met needing attention.
Matz, d'Arnaud and in some ways Flores aren't exactly rated in line with how others have been rated as rookies/young players. So I'm thinking they really haven't looked at the Mets beyond Yoenis yet. With Travis his numbers against lefties need to be raised, a lot. With Flores it's pretty much just his clutch rating and baserunning. But Conforto is so far off he doesn't play anything like he does in reality.

They raised Schwarber to mid-70's after less than 140 ABs. Conforto is just as good a hitter.

So maybe lets play SECA roster editors. What attributes would everyone like to see raised of his and to what would you like to see them raised?
