Re: Stock vs pitch edit rosters
It really doesn't matter that much. As far as gameplay, the pitch speeds is the biggest thing. They also limit the repertoire of relievers to 2 or 3 pitches which is more realistic. Don't know what he means by pitch break, a curve still curves like a curve! Look at the rosters thread and decide if you want opening day 2015 or maybe something you can sim to the upcoming offseason - that is the bigger decision in my book. I could make some suggestions if you wanted if I knew that much...The roster done by Teeds and WaitTilNextYear is my favorite this year though I edited some contracts is about all. The OSFM rosters are good too and are without pitch edits but I tend to go through all of the potentials before using it because it is crowd sourced which leads to some disagreements and people grading their own teams prospects too high.Last edited by rjackson; 10-17-2015, 03:14 PM.Comment

I'd like rosters that are post trade deadline and accurate ratings....Comment

Re: Stock vs pitch edit rosters
If you play long enough, it won't matter much because player development will change ratings (and thus velocities) and fictional draftees will populate the league (which will be SCEA default unless you're very diligent about pitch editing them), imo.
I'm in year 6 in a franchise (carried over from a pitch edits OSFM roster last year), and some franchises with non-pitch edit rosters and overall it's not much difference overall."Some people call it butterflies, but to him, it probably feels like pterodactyls in his stomach." --Plesac in MLB18Comment
