30 team control,yr to yr saves

I bought The Show for ps3 this year after skipping a few years,anyhow I am now deep into my 2nd season of my franchise.I am absolutely regretting not using the 30 team control option at the start of my franchise.


My question is for users who buy every year, if I buy next years game and transfer my save from this year,will I get the option to turn on 30 team control.Or if I upgrade from ps3 to ps4 if I transfer the save with the cloud will I have that opportunity.


Or maybe if there is a way to turn it on in the progress of my franchise.
Any help is appreciated.

Unfortunately I don't think you will be able to. The carryover option is incredible, i'm in 2017 of a 14 franchise playing every inning of every game, but it is just a continuation of your franchise so whatever settings you chose to start will stay the same.

You pick up where you left off. So the schedule stays the same when you carryover.

Those stay. Only thing that will change is a RL player if they retired (name & appearance).

I don't know if you will have that option. For me 30 team control seems like a huge pain in the *** but unfortunately if you carry over save you are forced into GM mode unless you are using 30 team control.

I want to carry over my franchise GM mode should be optional.

Can you carry-forward a RTTS file from 2014 to 2016? Or would you have to go through 2015 first? Meaning, on the year to year saves, do you have to buy the game every year to use that feature?

On the streams they said you cannot skip years meaning you cannot go from '14 to '16 without playing '15. I would suggest getting '15 from Redbox for the day, download and play it so you can keep it going without having to buy the whole game.

I'm like 95% sure you can only carry over from '15 into the Show 16. I believe I've even heard that spoke on. They're advertising it as year-to-year, so it's not designed to skip iterations.

In the most recent franchise video, they are shown loading up franchise saves, and there is an option to "load from 15", but nothing mentioning '14.

So, if you wanted to bring your '14 RTTS into '16, you would need to get '15, load a '14 save into '15, and then start up '16 and load that newly saved '15 file (via '14) into The Show '16.

Thanks guys. Appreciate the info. I'll try the Redbox route to continue my RTTS. Although with the new RTTS scouting set up I may just start over again.

Would it be possible to send your save file to someone with 15, have them do the transfer and send it back? Would that work or are the files non transferable?

Either way the rental should only cost a few bucks.
