A question about Super 2 cutoff date in franchise
My understanding of the way that Super 2 works is that it is applied based on all players that have their service clock started. This is why expected star players will be held in the minors for weeks/months *cough* Kris Bryant *cough*. However, the CPU controlled teams will start the season with these (and other) prospects on the roster.

Re: A question about Super 2 cutoff date in franchise
I could be wrong but I don't believe the super 2 is part of the franchise mode eligibility.. there is a "handbook" in game that should tell all the dates and stuff right in franchise mode.. hope that helpsMLB The Show Hybrid Roster Contributor
