A question about Super 2 cutoff date in franchise

My understanding of the way that Super 2 works is that it is applied based on all players that have their service clock started. This is why expected star players will be held in the minors for weeks/months *cough* Kris Bryant *cough*. However, the CPU controlled teams will start the season with these (and other) prospects on the roster.

So, my question is, how does this behavior skew the timeline for when I can call up prospects? Can I call them up much sooner than I would normally in real life? How much sooner?

I could be wrong but I don't believe the super 2 is part of the franchise mode eligibility.. there is a "handbook" in game that should tell all the dates and stuff right in franchise mode.. hope that helps

Super 2 is in the game. I think a player has to be up for 2 3/4's of a season to qualify, so if you bring a guy up in april or may, he'll qualify; but he won't if you bring him up in after june 1.
