    Is Home Field an advantage?

I am not sure if this is just me but I find I seem to always play better at home no matter who I play with, I find all the luck goes my way and I can make comebacks when behind too, but when on the road I struggle more

is this actually built into the game or is it just pure co-incadence?

    anyone else find this?

I don't think it's built into the game, but I find it to be the same for me. I'm still working on finishing 2015 in my Reds franchise. I'm around .500 at home and have made a few big comebacks, but on the road I'm like 20 games under .500. Not really sure why that is.

I have a better run differential at home, but I actually win more games away. Basically, I get some blowouts in my favour at home, but I tend to pitch better away. Might have something to do with the fact that I'm the Jays, and home is the Rogers Centre.

IRL it is an advantage for several reasons. First some - not all - of the home plate umpires in MLB give the home team a break on balls/strikes. That's not in the game.

Second, in late innings of a close game the home team has the obvious advantage of knowing what the other team has already done.

Third, you can tailor your team to fit the ballpark.
