When to Import for 2016 MLB Schedule

Simple question, but if we want the accurate 2016 MLB schedule, do we need to import into MLB The Show 16 no sooner than the start of Spring Training?

    Thanks!

In 15 as long as you hadn't started the regular season you would get the correct schedule. Not sure if it will be the same this year or not.

If you are going to carry over your save and want an accurate 2016 schedule don't advance to spring training after your offseason stuff is done. Then wait until MLB 16 comes out.

        So to confirm....

I can start a 15 franchise NOW and play until 16 comes out. As long as I don't "advance to spring training" before MLBTS 16 comes out--when I get 16, I'll be able to play the '16 schedule?

What are you guys' thoughts on the Y2Y save feature? Use it or no? I think it's a GREAT idea, but seems it leaves a lot of margin for bugs/errors...?

          1. Yes. You basically will pick up where you left off in 15.

          2. I use it and there aren't any bugs or errors. The only problem is if a player retires or doesn't play in 2015 and you carryover the save those players lose their likeness and names. You have to manually go in and edit those players. Or do what I do and create them in advance and import them and start a franchise with no worries.

I can tell you right now for sure guys like Jarrod Parker, Jurickson Profar, Logan Darnell wont be in MLB 16. (this is just a few players there are a ton more)

None of them played in the majors last season and they played a handful of games in the minor leagues when they came off the DL. There are a ton more players that will be missing for sure. I've been compiling a list.

Yeah Parker pitched in a few minor league games before he broke his arm.
